The new gun control bill referred to in the meme above won’t allow us to sue in eastern Oregon. This should be unconstitutional! It’s wrong to cut out eastern Oregon judges! Only judges elected by western Oregonians are allowed to rule on this law. That makes eastern and southern Oregonians into second-class citizens because the judges we elect can’t. This is payback for a Harney/Grant County judge standing up for the Oregon Constitution!

Eastern Oregonians are deprived of our rights if we have to drive 6 hours through snow-blocked passes to get a redress of grievances from an unconstitutional law. Don’t punish us; we’re not the ones who are passing the law.

Should this bill pass, countless Oregonians will become criminals overnight. Possession of virtually any magazine will qualify you for a year in jail. That’s right, any magazine. The bill does not outlaw magazines over 10 rounds. It outlaws magazines that could be over ten rounds.

“Large-capacity magazine’ means a fixed or detachable magazine ….., that has an overall capacity of, or that can be readily restored, changed or converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition..”

So untold thousands of Oregonians will be facing a year in jail. If we keep our magazines, they’ll be able to intimidate us at anytime with an inspection and prosecution of whoever they decide is their enemy.
