Dear legislators,

I am signing on to this letter that is being circulated among county commissioners and county judges in eastern Oregon because I believe that the Greater Idaho bill, SJM 2 is worthy of your support as cosponsor or lead sponsor. I ask you to help the movement get a hearing in the Oregon Legislature. SJM 2 authorizes the Oregon Legislature to begin talks with Idaho about the possibility of relocating the state line.

Idaho governance offers low tax rates, law and order, and respect for American values of faith, family, and self-reliance. It offers less regulation, a lower cost of living, less unemployment, and accommodation for livelihoods that rely on land and natural resources. Idaho respects the right to armed self-defense.

I believe that the Oregon Legislature should consider this bill.
